I kept myself off the streets and out of the bars this weekend by playing in my studio. You have all inspired me with your tags ... so thought I would try some. Not long ago, I walked into a store and discovered sheets of corrugated coloured cardboard. Brought it home. It's been stacked in a corner ever since. You have been playing with the stuff ... so thought I would give it a try. Here's what happened.
Each tag has it's own enclosure card on the back where you can add a personal message. |
I sent off the post cards for "Liberate Your Art" today. Patty ... just for you ... here it is. Now, go get yours in the mail! Not quite the same shape ... nevertheless, from the same photograph.
Aren't his boots just delicious? All that soft leather. I think I'll have them put on a stamp. |
Also, made a little Nicho of Mona. She get's tired of hanging around the Louvre and wanted a little break.
That's all for today. See you tomorrow. Thanks for dropping by. Always a pleasure.
“What if a demon were to creep after you one night, in your loneliest loneliness, and say, 'This life which you live must be lived by you once again and innumerable times more; and every pain and joy and thought and sigh must come again to you, all in the same sequence. The eternal hourglass will again and again be turned and you with it, dust of the dust!' Would you throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse that demon? Or would you answer, 'Never have I heard anything more divine'?” Friedrich Nietzsche

You have made some wonderful things while the world was cut off from you. Love the tags, Mona, the pictures, and of course, Nietzsche. I am still waiting for MOO to send my cards, and then they can be posted, the envelope is ready! Have a great day, take care of yourself, and your internet! Hugs, Valerie
Missed you too, while your internet was down...love the tags! I'm doing Liberate your Art too, when I return from Chicago next week.Maybe I'll get some ideas on my travels... Off today! Have a good day! jane
oooo - love the corrugated cardboard stuff!! I have only ever used it to apply paint, not as a piece in itself - cool! i think we still have quite a bit of time for the postcards - i am fiddling with some ideas, but not there yet. Can't believe how much stuff you can create in such a short time - guess that's the plus side of having no distracting internet!
WOW!! your ART is amazing..
Your tags are lovely... you kept creatively busy during your internet isolation. That corrugated material is quite versatile. Nice work.
