Not much in the studio department! Saturday, dear friends arrived from the US and immediately invited me to join them at Don Felix for dinner. Soooo great to see them! Oh how we love that place. I assumed their cupboards would be bare, so they came over for brunch on Sunday morning. We began the reunion with Mango Mimosas (Yummy) and the feast carried on from there.

A gorgeous shot Jackie captured in the morning light. |
It's been so beautiful here in the early morning light, I thought you might like to see what's happening around the courtyard.

The little fig tree Sylvia gave me is growing! I've enjoyed two delicious figs this year. |

Love watching the birds come for their water. |

My new favorite place for coffee in the morning - watching the birds. The Mandarine Tree has fruit growing on it.

What a wonderful place to relax in....enjoy.
so gorgeous - I love all the terracotta and of course all of your signature bold colors. My dear, you and I have the same taste in cocktails! How lucky your friends are to have such a friend as you. The new crown will be in and over before you know it - the worst is over!!! Your much older friend in North Carolina!!

Oh, Donna, this all looks so very lovely! So glad you have some friends close by to party with. And thanks ever so much, as always, for your sweet comments on my blog!
Your flowers enjoy the love you give them. They are so healthy and the BOUGAINVILLEA is stunning. How fortunate to have access to some beautiful pots for your flowers. Your gardin is gorgeous.
What's more peaceful and refreshing than a lovely courtyard? The light and shadow, the plants... all just lovely. ahhh. Enjoy your friends' visit.
Awesome photos, Donna! I love your courtyard. You have such a beautiful space around you. :)
