We had a wonderful day. Huge buffet (ate too much), ice cream in the square, fresh strawberries from the market.
Only a couple of things darkened the day. Gorge was not there today! We had to console Wendy. No serenades for us. After comida we walked in the square enjoying our ice cream. My camera slipped out of my hands and landed on the pavement. OUCH! It is inoperable at the moment. I am sick. Currently looking for information on repair here in San Miguel. I'll keep you posted.
So, only a couple photographs today ...
The last shot as she was 'going down'. |
Hope you are all well and happy. Enjoy your day and thanks for dropping by. xxoo Donna
I have to share with you, I named my camera "Annie", because I love her photography so much. I couldn't agree more about a "subtle difference". The 'subtle difference' in the photograph above is simply that I am not holding the camera in my hands. It's in 'free fall' mode! A very subtle difference.
A very subtle difference can make the picture or not.

Annie seems to have captured a gorgeous picture, even in her free fall state :) Hope she's not in the hospital for too long.
Beautiful church! If I ever make it there it scares me how many pics I'd take - but oh what a scary place to be. Sorry to hear about the camera - hope it's not too costly. Because of a similar situation I never take a pic without the strap around my wrist and since then I've dropped it a few times but never hits the ground. Whew! If u have to replace it I recommend the Panasonic Lumix (under $200) takes video and fab pictures.
Oh what a beautiful church. So sorry about Annie taking a fall. I so hope it is repairable.
Oh Donna, you must be gutted! I know I'd be lost without my camera..and it's on my phone lol so I'd be twice as lost lol :D XXX
Oh dear! So sorry to hear that but glad you got to have a lovely day out and about. I am fortunate to have a repair guy close by who used to work for Canon and does not have to send it away. The last time my tripod tipped over in the driveway while shooting the full moon. Yes, ouch for sure! Good luck with the repairs!!
Hi Donna, hope your Annie will soon be on the road to recovery! Take care, Hugs, Valerie
Ah sorry to hear about your camero but the last shot would make a great background for card, hope its not too much bother to fix it. Sounds like you had a wonderful day, if I lived there I would be the size of a house with all that lovely food ( now I am the size of a small apartment )

Oh, I'm sorry your lovely day ended with a bad camera fall. Let me tell you, when this happened to my brand new camera on our vacation in Egypt I cried. I really did and I'm not the one to cry for things but I did cry for my camera. :) Hope you can fix Annie soon and she won't cost you too much. :)
you have been out and about and busy! Lovely photos, even the one "going down". I hope you can get it repaired, Donna. Enjoy your time together!
OUCH! Poor Annie and sad Donna. I hope you can get it repaired soon. Your photos are always fantastic and provide a true visual of your daily experiences.
Hugs,
