* My Pocito (little) Jardin ...
Lots happened in my little jardin today. Felix came over and did all the heavy work while I primpt and preened all the plants to perfection. It's looking lovely now, and when the plants grow and fill out I believe it will be a lush little oasis to enjoy. The boston ferns here grow to five and six feet high - and the ficus - well I will have to keep it trimmed lest it take over the entire lane. Wednesday, Chayo is coming to drill holes in the walls for planters etc. so I can get everything finished up. I took a couple of photos.
Thanks for dropping by. The sangria is always on if you are in town. :o) xoxo Donna

oh donna it's so so pretty! is this upstairs on the 2nd floor?
I love sangria!
Beautiful primping, your garden is wonderfully inviting.
Such a wonderful oasis. Would love to enjoy a Sangria there with you someday. That last touch of beauty would be to have some of your art on those beautiful brick walls. Can you maybe paint them with thick polyurethane and put outside. How about on old wood then coated. They would be the "piece de resistance"!
Just beautiful and so inviting to sit down and have a yummy Sangria....my favorite wine drink.
Donna - I just love, love, love your quiet little oasis.. It is so appealing and beautiful! One day I will visit you! That is my intention at least. xoxo
It looks just gorgeous, wouldn't mind dropping in for an hour or two....Hugs, Valerie
Donna, this is lovely. I could sit here for a week.
I often think of hosting a small gathring and inviting blog and mail art friends....forget Indiana, I'm gonna have everyone meet here! hee!
Donna, your pathway is turning out so well. I love the variation of your pots and drool over the decorative, painted ones. I hope you will do a "before" and "after" and share a picture of the same areas a year from now.
It appears the tree was planted, and I'd love to share some Sangria with you.
Hugs,
C
