* A Morning at the Tiengas ...

The tiengas are exciting, they are LOUD, they are full of music and everyday people, food abounds, both the buy to take home kind, and the sit down and enjoy kind.  If you need something, I'm sure it's there .... somewhere.  I adore going there on a Tuesday morning.  Pat and I go to scour the place for collage stuff, enjoy the ambiance and have a bite to eat.  We usually come home with a little fresh fruit to nibble on ... who can resist.

Pat found a treasure.  Gorgeous little brass palm trees.
Lots of fun stuff for my stash.  Love the gears ... could have bought more I think .. ah well.  I love the little hand made rusty fish.
Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.   ~  Rumi

You are making me drool. Love the market scenes, the bright colours, the kids behind the stalls, just everything. And I am enviously green looking at all your wonderful, rusty treasures - sigh!! What a pity you are so far away! Hope you are feeling better today, take care of yourself! Hugs from cool and rainy Kaiserswerth. The name means *Emperor's Island*, cause they once held the holy Roman Emperor captive there!

Hi Valerie .. thanks for coming here every day .. your comments truly delight me. The history of your town must be very interesting ... great name and good intrigue. San Miguel is of course named after the Patron Saint Michael .. which I like ... after all if you are going to have a saint, it might as well be a powerful one. I agree ... to bad we are so far away from each other .. I think we could get into lots of great trouble. hugs

Donna, I'm so glad you are starting to replace all those photos you lost! And the jewelry - you are a TRUE artist my friend. Everything you touch turns to ART!!! It has been truly amazing to see your creative journey unfold these last few years!

Great find, Donna. The tiengas displays are marvelous. Makes my mouth water.

Do you have to wash your fresh fruit in a diluted bleach rinse or are the vegetables and fruits safe to eat from your area. Just curious.

Thanks for visiting my blog. It seems good to get back to a little art even if it is digital.

Hi Carolyn ... I wash most of my vegetables .. bacteria is different here than what our bodies are used to. Not bleach though .. it's a stable colloidal silver solution of .085 and a animal gelatin. Interesting eh? I LOVE your digital art -- I have 'elements' out ... just looking at it. They are installing railings and water pipes here today - so no working in the studio :o(. Thanks for dropping by. hugs, D

Patty ... Oh my, thank you for such a beautiful compliment. My creative juices seem to be fueled by the Mexican sun (or some such thing)! :o) No all I have to do is 'BELIEVE' ... right? hugs, D
