* More Mail ...
More mail art .. ready to fly out the door. I stuffed two more envelopes last night. Had fun decorating them. Monday is the day .... The envelopes are stuffed with hand painted bark bookmarks, paper cuts, a small nicho, a brightly painted tin ornament, day of the dead ephemera, some loteria cards, and various other small delights. I had so much fun putting them together. Oh ... also wrote a short letter to each participant. I love getting a little note with my mail art. It allows us to get to know a little about each other.

Oh my, what lovelies to receive...the colours are vibrant, the art stunning and the idea is wonderful.
I have to admit, I hate getting mail cause it's always bills, but this would be a great way of opening the mailbox and finding something I would actually like.
BTW, I love the quote by Maya...so true...so very true.
Glad you are feeling better.
WHAT FUN plus and inspiration as well. The ladies will love their envelopes; they are terrific and exciting looking. Even the postal clerks will be talking about them.
I noticed, one you received was postmarked Dec 30th; did you just now receive it?
You will enjoy your interaction with both groups and the friendships you make will be life treasures.
Hugs,
C
Hi Salma ... sorry I haven't e-mailed you back ... thanks so much for checking on me. I am feeling better, thanks. Just have to get my strength back. How's 'my' baby!?
Hi Carolyn - yes, I just received the Dec. 30th postmark. That is really quick for here. I'm still waiting for some things which I know were mailed well before Christmas. It's the 'luck of the draw'. Yes, I think this is just what I need .. a little fun. Always did enjoy mail swaps.
What a lovely idea. Mail art, huh! The postcards are great, really delightful. The notes are a nice idea too.
