* Be Happy Nicho

Played today.  Felt good.  Completed my 'under construction' nicho.  It was actually a complete surprise.  You know the feeling.  When I left it on Friday, I absolutely knew it wasn't finished.  I also absolutely knew I didn't have a clue what I would do to finish it.

Today my muse took over.  Oh how I adore the creative process when my muse leads me, coaxes me, shows me where next to step.  The title "Be Happy" was on a piece of paper on the floor when I glanced down.  No one in the scene, not even the moon looks happy, so the title amused me a great deal.  The rabbit on the roof is more curious than happy, however I think she is amused as well.

I photographed with the door open because of the glare from the glass.  All miniature antique toys, the detail in each one is phenomenal.  From the tiny car, to the dog, to the top hat, to the little elephant, I fell I fell in love with each of them.  I never dreamed they would end up as an assemblage.

Detail.  Click to enlarge.

Had to add Frida.  Click to enlarge.

Complete.  Door closed.  Heart/button knob installed.

This is over the top incredible!! All those tiny pieces, and that gumball. Well what can I say about that? Everything is so appealing... I could sit and look inside this nicho for a long time. Like you, I love it when things invent themselves. A lot of my quilts "happen" that way.

I love it Donna. Such a lot to see. I think those little metal toys may be old monopoly pieces, the top hat and racing car really look like them, how nice! Beautiful work, and something quite different. Hugs, Valerie
