* A little bit of bliss

My gardenia is blooming ... profusely.  The perfume is heady.  Sometimes in the early evening, I draw my chair near, put my feet up, close my eyes, and allow myself to be enveloped in the fragrance.  .... a little bit of bliss.

“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.”
― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream

Gorgeous flowers, things like that only flourish here in pots inside, even in 'summer'. Love the new blog look, too! Big hugs, Valerie

Lovely! I like the new look of your blog, too. Computer woes again, so I'll be back to posting on my blog when my PC feels better. Meantime I can still visit you on my back up.
