So there you go. All my trinkets and trash. I love the bird. So many possibilities ... with all of it. Such fun ahead.
The quote below has appeared in one of my posts prior to this. I love it. It really speaks to me and I am trying to be brave and go there ... into the wilderness of my intuition. Seems to me if I go there often enough, it will become comfortable, so I go back for more. I think it's working. I can see a difference in my work. Each time I go exploring there, I find different aspects of myself.
‘Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can’t get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you are doing. What you’ll discover will be yourself, and it will be wonderful.’ Alan Alda

Love the quote and love the pieces!!! I have been doing the same thing with my collages, letting them develop as they will. I love the process, but I don't have all that cool stuff!!
Oh what fun....I love your stash of old and rusty items. The keys are fantastic and it appears you found an old Danish aebleskiver pan. I also like the cross and the rosary beads and, and, and ....
Without our little stashes we would be at a loss wouldn't we.
Tomorrow I have lunch with some of my art friends. We won't go hunting for old and rusty but one never knows what we'll find.
Hugs,
C
Hi Patty ... I think I'm getting behind with visiting all my blogger friends. Thanks for always finding the time ... I truly appreciate it. I don't know how else I would work ... if I had to go and purchase everything for one project, I would be lost. I know you are having fun in 'Imagine'.
Ok Carolyn ... I am so curious about the Danish aebleskiver pan. Can you tell me about it please? When I asked someone what the object was they said a 'drain' cover. I knew it was more interesting than that! Thanks for coming over. Have fun tomorrow. hugs from Mexico
I'm ready to come to that market. I am drooling over those old keys, and well, everything actually.
Wat beautiful, wonderful and inspiring things....Our flea markets will be starting again soon after the winter break, so my fingers are itching to get some more finds to play with! Enjoy bein creative, and have agreat weekend. Hugs from cold and misty Germany, Valerie
Ok, Katie .. you are on! Every Tuesday - I'll pick you up at the airport. :o)
Hi Valerie in cold and misty Germany. Are you in the north or south? Munich .. one of my favorite places. I have a feeling you and I might have a lot in common. Markets are so inspiring are they not! Thanks so much for dropping over. Keep warm.
Wow what a lot of great finds. I need a place like that. It is getting harder and harder to find cool stuff. So that is where Tim Holtz got his quote. Have you read "The Intuitive Way" by Penny Pierce?...Donna
