* Expect Miracles ...

These are the only two words she has uttered since I began blocking her in.  "Expect Miracles".  I am assuming that is her name or the name of the painting.  This is a very very rough draft.  Many changes to come I'm sure.

The nights are getting cooler here in San Miguel.  December is the coldest month of the year.  Frost is possible.  There are doves who have adopted the large tree in the jardin.  In the evening when it begins to cool, they come and sit on the tiles of the back terrace, which are still lovely and warm from the afternoon sun.  There, they snuggle and chat until the evening cools the terrace.  It's lovely to watch.  Usually there are four of friends.  Tonight there are only three, so I'm a little concerned.  I managed a few photographs.  I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for popping in.  Sorry I wasn't home when you got here!  Take care and have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.  xx Donna

Oh, she who is being born looks good even now and you say she is a very very rough draft? Wow. I love the way you do work, waiting for the words, the way. Your colours are so beautiful, fresh and clean, will look forward to seeing developments.

Your description of the weather cooling and the doves is so visual then the delight of actually seeing them completed the story, I so enjoyed the journey, thank you. I do hope number four comes home.

I so enjoy seeing your paintings. Sorry I have been quiet in the internet world. I have been reading your posts and am now just settling down on Thanksgiving morning to spend some time oogling the vibrant pictures you post. Sending thoughts of turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, and veggies from my kitchen to yours in Mexico.

Even though you don't celebrate Thanksgiving day today like us in the States, I hope it is a great day for you.

I think your painting looks great now.

We have a couple doves that come to visit us in the big tree in the back yard all the time.

Happy Everthing my cyber friend.

Hi Donna, she is just beautiful and love the three doves. Great work. A blog I visit , billie's blog is also from San Migel de Allende and she is a photographer. Right now I believe she is in Texas but will be back to San Miguel soon. Just thought you'd like to know in case you'd like to visit her blog. Take care and wonderful work.

Love all the "swirly" elements in your new painting. Great pics of the doves. Using an old back-up computer for now, but I'll be back on my blog soon I hope.
